The End of the World is a collaboration between Ukrainian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk, Canadian cellist Julia Kent (Anohni & The Johnsons) and the Turin audiovisual collective SPIME.IM. A combination of acoustic music, live electronics and impressive images merge together. An immersive, multimedia live experience that celebrates the beauty of nature while dramatically portraying the environmental challenges facing our planet.
“THE END OF THE WORLD” has a special place in my soul … from its lugubrious opening, to the sparkling bright FINAL MANTRA , it is a journey for everyone to take, within themselves, to reach ! a better place” … It is also, in that FINALE MANTRA, one of those Continuous Pieces that is beyond the technique of all pianists in this world!

“My piano music, Continuous Piano, is the greatest development in the world of the piano since Chopin! Whoooo….I can hear everyone saying “no no no …” but actually YES YES YES … because it requires a transcendent pianist to play it … and because the Continuous Piano produces 15,000 % MORE sound than regular piano music.
15000% —and the pianist has to generate this from an unseen motor within Time and Space …making this music impossible to recreate as recordings … meaning that you have to HAVE TO HEAR IT IN A REAL CONCERT … not as recordings!
If you can imagine a choir of 4000 voices surrounding you … just try to record that!
But alas. I am nearing the end of this life … and who will ever be able to hear the Grand Piano sing like this again when I am gone?
